Deakin Surgical Interest Groups annual careers evening is here!

Every year we invite local surgeons to share their stories with us, and this year is no different. This year our distinguished guests will discuss the factors that lead them to choosing a career in surgery, what benefits and challenges their career provided them with, and will hopefully impart a fraction of their sage wisdom onto the next generation.

Regardless of how you would rate the severity of your desire to become a surgeon (1 being none at all, and 10 being willing to donate both your kidneys) please come along and enjoy some free food and interesting stories. Stories that will hopefully inspire you and give you just that little bit of extra motivation you need to continue with the long, hard slog that is medical school.

In the coming weeks we will post a bit about each of the speakers to get you excited.

For those of you at clinical schools outside of Geelong, we will hopefully be able to live stream the event.

Please refer to the poster for details and post any questions you may have or email us at Dsig@medusa.org.au.

Thank you
