Background

The Bond Law Clinic is a collaboration between the Bond Faculty of Law and local legal practitioners and organisations. Overseen by Dr Franci Cantatore, with the assistance of the Law Students’ Association (LSA), Ms Maria Nicolae, Mr Matt Raj, Mr Joe Crowley and other academics, the Clinic comprises four different clinics. This semester positions will be offered in the Commercial Law Clinic (10 positions), Community Law Clinic (4 positions), Criminal Law Clinic (6 positions) and the Human Rights Law Clinic (6 positions).

Students interested in volunteering should refer to the Clinic details on the Bond website > Current Students > Opportunities > Bond Law Clinic.

Bond law students are given the opportunity to interview clients under supervision, assist legal practitioners and prepare advice on a pro bono basis. This is an opportunity for students to increase their marketable skills and provide a valuable community service. This activity is not for academic credit, but counts towards the ‘Beyond Bond’ subject requirements.
