Bond University

Organised by:
Bond Law Students' Association LSA

On the 24th of November, the honourable Michael Kirby will be visiting Bond University and there is an array of events for students to attend throughout the day.

From 2pm to 4pm, the final of the Pro Justicia Moot will be held in Moot Court 1. This is a great chance to see mooting at its finest.

From 4pm to 4:50pm, the 2 Minutes with Kirby event will be held in 6_3_14. The topics of discussion posed to Kirby will include the impending Trump presidency, rape culture at educational establishments, animal welfare, life as a young lawyer and the polarising opinions by world leaders on marriage equality, abortions and treatment of asylum seekers.

At 5pm, a panel discussion will be run in conjunction with the Bond Pride Alliance. Come to 6_3_14 to hear Kirby's opinion on why the Marriage Plebiscite proposed by the Federal Government is an undesirable initiative, as well as the opinions of a panel of experts.
