Hi everyone! We are running our semesterly bubble tea and Taiwanese food night.
There will be free bubble tea, free authentic taiwanese thin noodles and other taiwanese things.

This semester we are back with another ass-kicking KUNG FU movie we will be showing Ip Man 1. Ip Man is a 2008 Hong Kong martial arts film based on the life of Yip Man, a grandmaster of the martial art Wing Chun and teacher of Bruce Lee. The film focuses on events in Ip's life that supposedly took place in the city of Foshan during the Sino-Japanese War. It portrays the struggle people in Hong Kong underwent during the tumultuous times of war with Japan by exemplifying national and cultural pride. In particular it educates viewers on how life in Hong Kong was like during times of oppression and war. During this viewing we will also be providing drinks (bubble tea) and some traditional dishes to further share our culture with the audience.

An excellent night not to miss!
