The Bond Law Faculty and Bond Pride Alliance invites you to join us for a Public Lecture hosted by The Honourable Michael Kirby AC CMG in the Basil Sellers Theatre.

In this public lecture, the Hon Michael Kirby will explain why the Marriage Plebiscite, proposed by the Federal Government, is an undesirable initiative.

In order to gain other prospectives on this issue, there will be a panel of experts that will also consider the issue of the plebicite and the effects of marriage equality more broadly.

This panel includes:

Pastor Coltheart was appointed as pastor of Metropolitan Community Church Brisbane - one of the only openly LGBT+ Churches in Queensland. Pastor Coltheart has worked throughout Australia, Papua New Guinea and the Middle East. He is also the author of an autobiography named 'Finding Out' which explores personal identity.
