Hey everyone! This is your time to officially meet your new Bond University Malaysian Association 2015/16 committee members at our Welcoming Event this Thursday, 1st Oct 2015 at 6pm!
We have tried our best to depict one of our most common place to "chill" called Mamak! In the hearts of every Malaysian exuberates a love for food to a point we single out the best in town! These stalls operate around the clock, 24/7!
In our Mamak menu tomorrow, we will be serving:
Nasi lemak is a fragrant rice dish cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf commonly found in Malaysia, where it is considered the national dish!
It comes with sambal, boiled egg, anchovies, peanuts and coconut rice!
We are serving our Nasi Lemak with Teh Tarik which is (literally ‘pulled tea’) is a hot milk tea beverage which can be commonly found at a Mamak!
And don't forget to save room for dessert! We are serving Kuih Bakar! Basically, it is a Malay cake, the texture is similar to that of custard but less sweet and normally green in color because of the (pandan) extract used in this recipe!
