We’ll be providing FREE FOOD, yes FREE FOOD
So come and join us for some Teh Tarik and Kuih Bakar on top of the Nasi Lemak!
Nasi lemak is a fragrant rice dish cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf commonly found in Malaysia, where it is considered the national dish!
It comes with sambal, boiled egg, Cucumbers, anchovies, peanuts and coconut rice!
For drinks, we'll be serving Teh Tarik.
Teh Tarik (literally 'pulled tea') is a hot milk tea beverage which is commonly found in Mamak stalls and Kopitiams all across Malaysia. Its name is derived from the pouring process of 'pulling' the drink during the preparation. Teh Tarik is made from black tea and condensed milk.
This sweet and rich tasting drink is considered as Malaysia's national drink, it is by far the most popular drink in the whole country!
And don't forget to save room for dessert! We are serving Kuih Bakar! (which loosely translates to 'baked cake') is a signature dessert among the folks of Malaysia. Although 'bakar' means 'burnt' in Malay, which aptly describes its signature burnt crust edges. Typically baked in a similar way to cakes, it features sesame seed toppings that sits atop a soft, dense and chewy pandan flavoured body. Its rich texture, which is akin to a cake, yet softer and richer in taste will leave you wanting for more!
