Meditation - Mantras - Music - Moonlight

Join us for a beautiful celebration of mantras by moonlight commemorating the beginning of the kirtan movement! Gather on the shores of Burleigh Heads beach, enjoy beautiful meditation and kirtan (sacred music) and greet the golden moon as it rises over the ocean.

500 years ago, in the ancient kingdom of Bengal, two great transcendental personalities; Sri Nityananda and Sri Gauranga, appeared and freely spread the chanting of the holy names of the Divine (kirtan) throughout all of India.

This kirtan tradition is now sweeping the globe and hundreds and thousands of people of all cultures are falling in love with it. Kirtan nourishes the deepest needs of the soul.

Come and immerse yourself in the joyous singing, ecstatic dancing and spiritual love that kirtan brings to our lives.

Sunday 12th March 5:30-8:00 pm

Featuring kirtan band Ashraya and The Choir of Angels

Please note, we won't be able to serve a full meal on the beach but we'll be sharing delicious vegetarian snacks.
