King and Wood Mallesons Canberra

Organised by:
ANU Law Students' Society

Are you interested in a career in one of Australia’s most prestigious commercial law firms?
Would you like to meet brilliant legal minds and experience a day in the life of a corporate lawyer?

If so – you’re in luck!

King & Wood Mallesons (KWM), in collaboration with the ANU Law Students’ Society (ANU LSS), have arranged for 10 – 15 students to visit KWM’s Canberra office on Wednesday, 19 October 2016.

At the event students will have an opportunity to participate in:

- a speaker session on the KWM’s focus on innovation and its strong partnership with the Canberra Innovation Network;
- a round table discussion with the current Canberra graduates;
- an office tour; and
- an all staff buffet lunch.

This event will provide pre-penultimate students with an invaluable opportunity to see first-hand the inner workings of a top tier law firm, interact with people from graduate to partner, and learn about the culture at KWM.

If you would like to attend this event, please email an expression of interest with your name and expected date of graduation to, lsscareers@anu.edu.au. Interest for the event will be accepted from 12.00pm Wednesday, 28 September, any emails received prior to this time will be disregarded.

Students will be selected according to a first in first serve basis, with preference given to pre-penultimate year students. In addition, please include a question or area of discussion which you would be interested in hearing about, as this will inform the content of one of the workshops on the day. Due to the volume of expected interest, only successful students will receive confirmation of attendance.

Selected students will be required to execute and return a Confidentiality Undertaking document to Rachel Hao, Careers Vice-President, by Friday, 14 October 2016. Failure to do so will void their attendance of the visit.

In the meantime, make sure you’ve joined this event as we will be releasing more exciting information about the visit in the next few weeks!

The ANU LSS thanks KWM for their ongoing support in the arrangements of this amazing opportunity.
