Gender Equality: Breaking the Glass Ceiling

Gender equality is #5 of the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals that it aims to achieve throughout the world by 2030.

Gender equality is not about taking away the power of one
gender, but rather, empowering the vulnerable to have equal opportunities and treatment.

Join the discussion with ANU academics such as Dr. Consuelo Martinez Reyes and Professor Margaret Thornton as they discuss this issue and conduct a Q&A session at the end to spread awareness and answer any questions. We will also be showcasing MP Andrew Leigh in a video, in response to your questions!

The first step to changing the world is learning about it. Let’s learn, discuss and change the world today. Be aware, spread the word and fight for your fellows!

Don't forget to RSVP to be kept updated on the latest information as well as the different profiles of the speakers :)
