Are you in First Year and keen to get involved on the Committee of the ANU LSS this year? Well you're in luck!

The Committee has four (4) First Year Officer positions available for any ANU student currently enrolled in first year law (LLBH or JD) to contest - regardless of whether it is your first year at uni, or you have transferred into first year law but it is your second year or more in another degree.

Nominations will open at 9am on Wednesday 1st March, and will close at 5pm on Friday 10th March.

You must be a Paid Member of the ANU LSS to run in the election. You can buy your membership online at http://anulssmember.getqpay.com/ or come into the LSS Office from 12-2 any weekday to purchase your membership in cash.

To apply please email Anna by the close of nominations at lssadministration@anu.edu.au the following items:

1. A completed nomination form (which can be found on our website: http://www.anulss.com/about/getting-involved/);

2. A short Candidate Statement about why you want to be a First Year Officer/why you would be good for the position (maximum 100 words); and

3. A high-quality photo of yourself

Candidate Statements and photos will be posted to the ANU Law Students’ Society Facebook page and website after the close of nominations and prior to voting.

Elections will run from Wednesday 15th March to Friday 17th March 2017. Voting is done online, and only first year law students enrolled at ANU are eligible to vote. Keep an eye on your u-number emails for the voting link!
