The LSS is excited to announce that this year’s Allen’s Social Justice Dinner will be celebrating the 800th Anniversary of the Magna Carta!

The Magna Carta is responsible for introducing the rule of law and protecting democracy in England, and has had a significant influence on Australia’s legal and political systems since 1901. We have been incredibly fortunate to engage the British High Commissioner Menna Rawlings as the guest of honour and speaker. Her Excellency will explore the Magna Carta’s history, relationship with the rule of law and relevance to the modern day.

Dinner and unlimited drinks will be included.
