AULSS Careers Fair
17 March, 2017
The Adelaide University Law Student Society
The 2017 AULSS Careers Fair is here!
*WHAT IS IT?*
The most important careers-based event of the year!
Representatives from firms and organisations gather at Bonython Hall at Adelaide University FRIDAY 17 MARCH from 10.30am - 2.00pm.
They are there to give you information about what they do, how to apply for their clerkships and what it is like to work for them.
*WHO IS IT FOR?*
Students from all year levels are welcome to come along to this free event - no need to register.
Those in their penultimate or final years seeking clerkships or graduate work are highly encouraged to attend. But, this year we have firms attending who are looking to offer volunteering experience to students, so those in their first, second and third years will not want to miss out!
1) Meet potential employers. Network with their Human Resources team and find out how to get a job with them.
2) Discover what opportunities exist for law graduates and how to pursue them.
3) Find out about what you have to do when you graduate and your options for Practical Legal Training.
4) Pick up a copy of the AULSS 2017 Careers Guide. This year's Guide contains loads of interesting information on where a law degree can take you. It includes information on different firms, clerkship dates, alternative careers, PLT and application tips.
*WHO WILL BE THERE?*
Over 20 exhibitors, including:
Crown Solicitor's Office
Johnson Winter & Slattery
Law Society SA
Roma Mitchell Community Legal Centre
The College of Law
Women's Legal Centre
Young Workers Legal Service
