StudentVIP.com.au launched in December 2004.
The site quickly became Australia's largest student portal. Traffic and UB's continue to grow.
2009 was a great year, with traffic and UB's up 40%.

Continued growth
In 2009 we launched a major new student share accommodation service within StudentVIP, StudentFlatmates.com.au. This shares content with our recent purchase of flatmates.com.au.
Technical note:
StudentVIP doesn't appear to do much traffic when measured by Neilson net ratings etc. This is because our site is made up of multiple domains. For example if you go the the textbookexchange area of studentvip- the url in your browser is no longer www.studentvip.com.au - instead it becomes www. textbookexchange.com.au. So Neilsen is only measuring a few sections of studentvip.
